All four games support touch and keyboard controls, have their own rules and explanations, and save your current game in this browser when storage is available. Start with classic Minesweeper if you want the familiar rectangular board, or use the interactive introduction to learn the numbers.

Does a different shape change the rules?

The core rule stays the same: a number tells you how many mines touch that square. What changes is the neighborhood. In a flat board there are at most eight neighbors. Adding a third or fourth coordinate creates more neighbors, so a clue can refer to mines in several linked slices. The 3D and 4D pages include an interactive diagram to make those connections visible.

No-guess changes how boards are selected, while Infinite changes how far the field extends. These two use the same eight-neighbor rule as the classic game.
